Gregory Moyer is the publisher of Minnesota Nice News. He sells the ads, edits, writes articles and runs the management systems behind the scenes, built the same way he built them on other projects in his career. He grew up in western Oklahoma, made high school all-American, and went to the University of Oklahoma on a football scholarship, lettering in 1996 and 1997. He came out of it with a geography degree in the geosciences and the ability to read an aerial photograph. A brief city planning career followed. A Master of Science in safety, security and emergency management followed from Eastern Kentucky University in 2010, with a concentration in occupational safety and risk management, and the career it went with ran through environmental health and safety, risk management, and energy work onshore and offshore, from the Gulf of Mexico to North Dakota. Greg installed and managed the working compliance processes for clients. He has also worked as an enumerator and statistician for the state and the federal government.
